TEEN CURFEW

Being out at night with friends is important to a teen who is working on his identity and his social life. But, there has to be a time when he needs to come home. What is that time in your home? Is it different for school nights and weekends? Share how you handle curfews in your home. Share your thoughts.

  1. My parents let me go out with my friends without problems and most of the time I can arrive home whenever I want, but can't be too late, because they get worried of me.

  2. On the weekends I can stay out late ( 2am o'clock at most) and on other days I can stay out until, more or less, 8pm o'clock, because I have classes on the next day!

  3. I don't go out with friends very often, because I can't drive or walk alone yet. However, when I go to parties at night, I can stay until the end if I want.

  5. Teenagers have to obey their parents' curfews rules. If their parents allow them to stay out until the other day, good (or not) for them.
The parents always have the power.

  6. In working days, I can arrive home at most at nine o'clock to go to bed at ten. If I don't, I can't get up at six on the next day.
So, I prefer going out at the weekends.

  10. On the weekends I can arrive home whenever i want because I do not need to wake up early, but at school nights I have a limit of 10pm, because I need to wake up at 6am because I have to go to school. That's not very good, because I can not take the whole party. but with a little negotiating I can stay up a half past ten.

  11. I think that what bia said is correct, because the teenagers need to obey their parents, because if not, they will get very bad.

  13. In my home, we don't have time to go to the bed, I can sleep whenever I want, but it makes good sense and I don't go to the bed late, sometimes I try to sleep early to wake up in the next day easily to go to the school.
